You're about to embark on a mining trip! Some of these rocks contain precious things to be taken back to the lab, while others aren't so valuable. Luckily, you've got a scanner that can tell you what's inside each rock. Not so luckily, there's only one scanner between all of you, so you'll have to share it, while keeping your own findings hidden from your fellow miners.
Place this device somewhere central, along with the deck of rock cards. Moving either this device or the deck, or closing/locking/muting the device during the game is not allowed.
One team starts as the seeking team, while everyone else hides. After 30 seconds, the seeking team can look for the hiding teams. If your team is found, you must trade a rock card with the seeking team, and then swap roles.
At any point in the game, you may make your way to the scanner and scan any of your rock cards. On each trip to the scanner, you may also take one new rock card. However, you do run the risk of getting caught on the way to the scanner, so be careful. Hiding teams, your timer begins... now!
